Helmet Head

Penn got his helmet on Friday afternoon and we are slowly wearing it more everyday. He'll most likely have to have it on for two months. The first day he didn't mind it at all but the last couple of days you can tell he's getting more irritated with it. Hopefully when we aren't putting it on and taking it off so much he will just get used to it.
I feel sorry for the little guy. These helmets are hot and the physical therapist says that no matter what he will sweat a lot and just to expect sweat dripping from his head.
I do have to say he is the cutest little thing I've ever seen in a helmet.

We had one of those for our third little boy - only ours was just clear, so no awesome colors or patterns or designs. When we'd take it off to bathe him, his hair was just matted to his head because of the sweat. I always felt so bad for him, but after a few days, he didn't even mind it. Did make it kind of hard to kiss his cute little head though. It's not quite the same to kiss a helmet. :)

I'm afraid Anna's going to need one of those too. The back of her head is seriously flat. Lucy probably should have had one too but oh well. It is kind of sad, but 2 months really isn't that long. It's kind of like having braces right?

Look at his eyes! What a cute boy. I wish we could have gotten a helmet for Kaleigh. . . it's a good thing she has big hair.
