While walking down the hallway, I see one of my more 'rambunctious' students.
Me: Hi McKay.
McKay: Hi Mrs. Dart. (I know, I need to change my name)
Me: What grade are you in McKay? (My students can be in 7th, 8th or 9th)
McKay: Seventh, but I sound like I'm in eighth grade don't I?
Me(Giggling because I think it's funny he cares about sounding older and also because he's a total shrimp): mmm sure.
McKay(Nodding his head): I get that all the time.
