*Anyone who plans on watching the Felicity series do not continue reading.*
Can the Felicity lovers out there (Fergi perhaps) please tell me why Felicity chooses Ben over Noel? I finished the series weeks ago and I am still pretty distraught over the whole thing. I don't know if anyone can console me but I just wanted to hear peoples thoughts on the whole thing.
ps. My favorite character in the show is Megan.

Where do I begin?
Though, I do have to agree with Fergi; I've always have and always will be a Ben fan. I never really saw the attraction between Felicty and Noel. (Besides his undying adoration and sweetness for her.) But, remember why Felicity went to NY in the first place? For Ben! So, of course the story has to go full circle, and she has to say with... Ben!
Hopefully he and his cheating ways will change.

In my defense, it's not that I love Noel (he has funny lips), but why did she HAVE to choose Ben? Why couldn't she just choose neither of them. I don't like Ben. I see the attraction, but he is mean to Felicity anytime things aren't going well for him. She is always trying to help him get through things and he's never really there for her. He has anger management problems too. Oh ya, and he cheats on her. I just wanted her to be strong and realize that she doesn't need Ben to be happy. That to me would have been coming full circle.
And do you guys really think they will both become doctors and stay together forever?
Fergi, I hope we still can be friends. I'll buy you some candy and I'll play with your baby.

i just lent my friend the dvd's and she said the same thing. we decided that it might have been different watching it for the first time when you're 18 then now. back then did any one like the nice guy?
ps. they both became doctors and lived happily ever after debt free.

You are right Fergi, if I watched this series when I was eighteen I would have been head over heals in love with Ben Covington. He could have back-handed Felicity and I would have been, "But he has such a good heart inside." Love can change him.
Whenever Brent walked in and I was watching this someone was talking about becoming a doctor. He would ask, "So is everyone in this show becoming a doctor?" I just told him to leave and deliver some babies or whatever he does all night and day at hospitals, I was busy watching serious television.
Good memories! Aaron used to make fun of me for watching this. He hated the way Felicity always whispered throughout the whole show.

I'm so glad you watched. I think we should have a girls night and watch the finale all of us together so we can discuss in further detail but mmmmm I agree with others I have a thing for Ben so I was happy with the ending, I like noel but I never liked them together.
How cool to find your blog (whoever you are). I am Juanita and I am the biggest Felicity fan on the planet. I am an expert on all things Felicity. I watched the show back when it was on TV from the beginning, (I was 14 at the time, now I'm 24) then I watched the reruns on the WE channel. After I began receiving the seasons on DVD as Christmas presents, I watched the entire series again...and again. Most recently I watched the series again with a fresh perspective. I thought, gee, that Ben does have a violence issue, but I believe that he grows out of that as he grows out of a lot of his flaws- like his low self-esteem. Another thought is that in real life maybe Noel would have been the best choice. I tend to believe that the best person for you is your best friend. But, in Felicity's case, maybe Ben was her true best friend, her soulmate. If she had been with Noel she would have always been thinking what if? about Ben. I don't know if they become successful doctors or not, but I imagine them still in college going to college forever!
